Discovery Italy's Breathtaking Sorrentine Peninsula
Leave the highway behind, with its holiday traffic, tour buses, and crowds in the center of Sorrento. Follow the coastine towards Punta Campanella and the island of Capri to Casa Clementina, tucked in the breathtakingly untouched countryside of the Sorrentine Peninsula. Here you can relax and unwind in the peace and quiet of this corner of paradise.
This picturesque and vibrant resort town is just a 20 minute drive from our B&B along a road that is almost always free from traffic.
In just five minutes, you can drive to the trailhead for the Punta Campanella path, an easy and flat walk to the far point of the Sorrentine Peninsula.
A large pebble beach with crystalline water, excellent restaurants, and easy parking just 15 minutes by car from Casa Clementina.
Casa Clementina is located in the village of Marciano just outside Massa Lubrense on the far point of the Peninsula Sorrentina along the scenic drive known as the "Nastro d'Oro".
To reach us, exit the highway at Castellammare di Stabia and continue along the Statale 145 highway, passing a number of towns along the Sorrentine Peninsula (Meta, Piano, Sant’Agnello, and Sorrento). Continue towards Massa Lubrense, following the signs for “Termini”. When you see the “Capitan Cook” sign to your right, you will turn left on the steep and narrow road just beyond on the left. The turn left is quite tight, so if you have a large car you may want to drive a bit beyond, turn around, and make the turn coming the other way.
This last drive uphill is steep, but very short!
Casa Clementina is easy to find! Just keep the sea to your right along the way.
Please note: we recommend our guests arrive by car or rent a car during their stay.
This area is not well-served by public transportation, and we have a free private parking area for guests.
